MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 or Equivalent with an NQF5 level certification
Relevant Engineering diploma/degree
Government Certificate of Competency (GCC)
At least 5 years’ experience in a trackless mining environment with at least 2 years in a people leadership role
Experience in Shafts and Underground Production is essential
Engineering understanding and knowledge of Mine Winder hoisting systems with previous operating experience at mine(s) specializing directly with winder hoist systems.
Being declared medically fit for the role & environment as determined by a risk based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a heat tolerance Screening Test
