MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
· BCom Honours in Accounting or equivalent [essential]
· Registered CA [SA] [essential]
· Proficient in MS Office [Advanced Excel essential]
· Knowledge of any ERP systems, preferably JDE
· Hyperion system [preferred]
· Insight system [preferred]
· Ability to supervise a team
· Sound analytical, logical reasoning, judgement and decision making skills
· Ability to apply expertise and technology, deliver results and meet customer expectations
· Ability to plan and organise efficiently
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to engage at all levels
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· Minimum 2 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in the mining sector
· Completed articles with one of SA’s big four reputable firms
· Experience in corporate taxation and VAT
Experience supervising a team of financial processing staff
